Baby Burgoyne!

I can't believe I'm already 15 weeks pregnant! Our baby is the size of a navel orange, 4.0 inches long and weighs 2.5 oz! Next week we are going to a 3D ultrasound to find out the gender of baby B! We are super excited and hope that he/she cooperates! I have no feeling either way, lots of people say boy and lots of people say girl so we will just have to see! We found out in November that we were going to be parents, what an amazing feeling to know that you and the one you love created something that's yours. I remember the day we found out, we were speechless and didn't think it was possible. I found out a little after we got married that I had PCOS, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. It wasn't to the point where I had cysts on my ovaries but had to be put on medicine. I wasn't too worried but I knew that it would take us longer than usual when we wanted to get pregnant. After being on my medicine for 8 months we found out that we were pregnant it was a very emotional and exciting moment. We knew that there is a right time for everything and it was finally our time! I am very very fortunate that I've only been sick a few times this pregnancy, being in the second trimester I feel alot less tired and I don't want to eat everything in sight anymore! Here is a picture of Baby B when we had our first Ultrasound!
We got to see and hear our baby's heart beat at our first Ultrasound it was so amazing that something so small already had a heart beat and could move around. I cant wait to see our baby next week and see how much he/she has grown since the first ultrasound. We have been working on the baby's nursery we chose gray, white and black and when we find out the gender we will put a color in with that probably purple or blue! We did all the walls gray and one of the walls we did chevron! Well my husband did chevron! :)
We were very excited when we found an $8 entertainment center from goodwill that we decided to turn into a changing table! (gotta love pinterest) My very talented husband turned it into the most beautiful changing table ever! Here is the before and after!
We were so excited when we found out that a friend was giving her crib and mattress away! Here is the before and after, we sprayed it black! I cant wait to pick out the bedding!
My mom had a rocking chair that she let us have that we painted white and we are going to recover the cushions!
We still have alot that we need to do, but I am super happy with what we have already gotten done! Once we find out what our little peanut is we can get alot more done! We are really excited to become parents and we cant wait to meet baby b in July!!

Christmas in Cali!

We were able to fly to California for Christmas this year to be with Brennens family! We left late Monday the 22 and got to California around 1 in the morning. What a long and tiring flight we had! The next day we had to finish some last minute Christmas shopping. The weather was amazing in the 70's that day! The sun was shining and we were happy to be in California!
I love all the different sizes of palm trees out there! Tall and skinny short and fat I love them all! Palm trees are my favorite!
The next day was Christmas Eve and we were able to go to Disney Land! We had so much fun even though we couldn't ride the crazy rides this time! We got to watch a Christmas parade that evening!
We even got our picture taken with Mickey Mouse!
We were tired after a long day of walking around! The next day was Christmas!
We took it easy that day being lazy! What else do you do on Christmas Day? We got so many good gifts and I got some great pregnancy goodies!
Later that evening we went to the Mission Inn where we stayed for our honeymoon one night! They always decorate it for Christmas! It was beautiful!
The next day we traveled to San Diego where we were married! We went to the beach and we were able to stop by the temple!

We were able to meet up with 2 close friends of Brennens while we were out visiting! We went to lunch with Mike and Jackie and later that day we took a trip to Newport Beach we stopped by the temple!
We went to church on Sunday at Brennens home ward. It was nice seeing everyone. Of course while we were out in California we had to eat at In-N-out!

Our time in California was slowing coming to an end. We took it easy monday and Tuesday we went to Oak Glen with Brennens friend Darin. It was so cold up in the mountains that day.
Later that night it was time for us to leave California. We had such a fun time being out there for Christmas! We got home early Wednesday morning. We were definitely tired! I think we're still trying to catch up on sleep! Needless to say we had an amazing trip and we can't wait to go out there again!

Crazy month of November!

I feel like November is a crazy month in our family, we have alot of birthdays that month my moms, mine and Naomi's! Getting ready for the holidays, trying to save money, work and I became an aunt again! Coralee Grace Shaw was born November 20th which adds to our November birthday month!

Brennen and I are excited that we get to be Aunt and Uncle to another baby girl!
We also had Namoi's 1st birthday party!

We sure have fun together, we even got to play in the leaves this fall!

Babies babies everywhere! We even found out some awesome news this November...

WERE GOING TO BE PARENTS! JULY 2015!

Time to catch up (Bahamas Trip)

Well, its been a long time since I have gotten on here and been able to write a new post. I guess its time to catch up a little since July oops! Where do I even begin? Brennen and I were able to go on a cruise to the Bahamas in August for our 1 year anniversary and Brennens birthday! It was a 5 day cruise and it was SO MUCH FUN!! I would love to go on another cruise it was definitely worth the money! We loaded the ship in Charleston SC and we parked our car there. We loaded the ship and within a few hours we were ready to head out into the sea! The ship was HUGE and there was so much to do we didn't even know where to begin! The first full day was on sea the whole day, free food and ice cream whenever you wanted a nice pool, music, games and a ton of chairs to soak up the warm sun! We decided to lay out on the boat all day and oh did we regret that later that evening! We got so much sun we could barley move, but hey whats a trip to the bahamas without a good sun burn!

The next day we arrived at the first island, Freeport! We got off the boat, got on a taxi and headed to the beach! We laid our towels down and continued getting more sun! The water was clear and the sand was hot! After a while we decided to go on a banana boat ride where we were able to see dolphins!

in the taxi!

 before our banana boat ride!

After being in the sun all day again we were worn out! We headed back to the boat and got cleaned up for dinner. Every night they did something special one night the sung to us for our anniversary and one night they sang to Brennen for his birthday! We always had fun walking around the ship at night listening to bands play and watching so many different kinds of entertainment!

before dinner one night!

The next day we woke up and we were at the next island, Nassu! We are such beach babes all we wanted to do was to go find a beach to lay on!

They stopped us to take our picture!
After walking which felt like forever in the hot sun, we finally found the beach!

The water was so clear it was like swimming in a pool, you could feel and see the fish swimming beside you!

I felt like we were in the water alot more because our skin was so hot! This time we were smart enough and we rented an umbrella to lay under!

After playing in the water and laying in the sun we decided we were starving and we went and ate at senior frogs! We got back on the boat and had another exciting night ahead with all the fun things that go on, on the boat!

One more day and it was time to head home!

The last day on the boat we took it easy, we were already burnt to a crisp!

We were sad that the trip was ending because we had so much fun! But we were excited to go home and tell everyone about all the fun we had!

Packing up our stuff that night was sad, but this was the best trip we had ever taken! We will for sure go on another cruise again!!

The 4th

Summer is always a busy time vacation, work, summer school and just trying to live a normal life. Can you believe that our one year anniversary of being married is coming up in 16 days? but who's counting anyways. What im really excited for is that we are going on a cruise to the Bahamas for 5 days thats in 22 days.. not that im counting down for that either! This past year of being married has been one of the best years yet and I cannot wait for the many years to come when we are able to move, buy a house of our own and start a family those will be the years that we will never forget.

On to what we have been up to for the past few months! For the 4th of July we were about to go up to my grandparents house like we do every year for the 4th and be in the Faith Parade. Its always so neat and fun to see all the people and get to pass out candy. This year Naomi was able to be in the Parade! We were matching with our red bandannas and our Toms!

Brennen and I were riding in the back of a trailer passing out candy and little american flags to everyone.

Obviously we are never ready to take pictures at the same time.

After the parade we went back to my grandparents house and ate lunch. Brennen and I went swimming and later that night we went with my parents to see the fireworks in uptown Charlotte.

We had a really fun 4th of July!
